Biography

After graduating from the Honors Program at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Miranda Hill immediately moved to New York to participate in the Columbia Publishing Course. Although she originally worked in academic publishing, she joined the Berkley Publishing Group in 2016, and has loved working in an imprint with such a diversity of genres. As an assistant editor, her primary focus is working with two different editors on a variety of adult science fiction and fantasy novels, as well as actively acquiring projects of her own.

She would love to see any and all science fiction and fantasy projects, especially space opera in science fiction in the vein of Mur Lafferty’s SIX WAKES and action and adventure in fantasy similar to Jenn Lyons’ THE RUIN OF KINGS. She also has interest in cozy mysteries, technological thrillers, and any book that prominently features a dog.
